Our company launch could not have happened without the effort of our parent company and other local companies and friends. During the last month, Diamond Build have supported the launch in terms of the setting up the new office, sorting out the IT provision and then setting up the venue and gazebo. When there is a small core team, additional help is really important. It is great to know that we have other people backing us and want to thank John Gray and his team for all their support.
The centre piece on the boardroom table was occupied by an amazing cake prepared for us by Jemma from Jemz Cake Box. When people first saw it, they couldn’t believe that it was a cake – I can say that the taste was just as good as the appearance. The finger buffet was provided by Pradera, a Spanish tapas restaurant in Hornsey, N8. The team that arrived with the food were so friendly and did an amazing job of serving and introducing our guests to very original plates of food. Everyone enjoyed the food and we look forward to visiting their restaurant to sample more of their dishes.
Our launch was documented by Sophie Mutevelian, who is based in Haringey and who managed to move around and capture a set of photographs that will certainly remind us of this special day.
Our special guest, Sir William Atkinson, another local dignitary, is also a valued member of the team and we are very grateful that he took time out of his busy schedule to support us at the launch.
This is just the start, now the adventure begins and the hard work starts. We are all looking forward to making new contacts and working in new environments.
